Proverbs 4:5-11
Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them. [6] Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. [7] Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. [8] Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. [9] She will set a garland of grace on your head and present you with a crown of splendor. " [10] Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. [11] I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
Familiar verse. It sounds so simple.
But how often do we find ourselves focusing on things that don't matter; or even worrying about situations in our life and trying to sort things out in our own mind and in our own strength?! Instead, we should be talking (aka "praying") to God about it, seeking His Word (aka "Bible") and trusting Him to work on our behalf.
The Lord has been doing some great new things. Some doors that we've been praying for have began to have the doorknob turned, and will soon hopefully be opened.
The Lord knows the desires of our heart; and IF we "seek Him first", He will lead, guide and direct us in the right path. Be encouraged today and remember to...
SEEK HIM FIRST!!!!!

(NIV) Proverbs 2:2-8
turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, [3] and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, [4] and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, [5] then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. [6] For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. [7] He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, [8] for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

(NIV) Psalm 139:1-5
O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. [2] You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. [3] You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. [4] Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. [5] You hem me in---behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.
